Chrome OS: The Future?

Yesterday, Google announced the launch of its Chrome Web Store, as well as the pilot launch of a new Chrome OS netbook-a device (and operating system) that's been long-awaited in the tech community and that some say heralds "the future of computing." The real hardware won't hit stores till "mid-2011," but in the meantime, publishers, game producers and businesses can already start making and selling apps in the Web Store.

Bonnier R&D to Stream 09

Sara Öhrvall will keep us posted from the digital unconference STREAM.

Stream 09 is a digital "unconference" that will bring together two hundred of the brightest people from the creative, media and technology industries to discuss and debate ideas and opportunities in the areas of culture, innovation and the internet. Participants are invited for their ability to provide fresh thinking. Attendance is by invitation only. One of this year's attendants are Sara Öhrvall, Director of Bonnier R&D.

The web is maturing. Here are some thoughts on possible business plans for the future.

The die has been cast. So said Julius Caesar after he had crossed the Rubicon river and realized there was no turning back. As a society we are now wading into the safe shallows of our most recent Rubicon, the most devastating economic crisis known to any living person. But the question arises, what is this world we are entering into? Is it going to be a remake of the one before the economic crisis. If it is then I am not quite sure that we are capable of learning. As Gordon Gecko stated in Wall Street, Greed is good, I would like to add , so is responsibility. But what of it?
