Record Year for TV4 Group

A year marked by increased profits, 2010 was great for Sweden's TV4.

Swedish TV4 Group had its best year ever in 2010, with operating profits of SEK 807 million, in part thanks to strong ad sales and growth in local TV markets. The results represent an increase of 26 percent compared to 2009.

"The TV4 Group reported yet again strong year-end results," says CEO Jan Scherman. "The record profit is proof of the hard work of everyone in the company. The year was marked by new business, new initiatives, new program hits, new program offerings and new platforms - and of continued success with ad sales, both nationally and locally."
