Distribution to increase when cable provider Telia offers the channels in its Stor-paket package.

TV4 Guld, TV4 Komedi and TV4 Science Fiction are increasing their distribution by an additional 100,000 households in operator and cable provider Telia's network. With the increase, a million households can watch TV4 Gold and TV4 Komedi - the first shows classic TV shows and the second comedy.

TV4 Gets New Licenses for HDTV

Viewers will soon be able to get TV4 HD, Canal+ Series and a new Canal+ channel with sports, film and series.

The Swedish Radio and TV authority has given out HD licenses and two Bonnier companies have been recipients. Swedish TV4 AB has gotten a license for TV4 HD and C More Entertainment/Canal+ licenses for a new HD channel for sports, films and series, as well as for the existing Canal+ Series channel.

The TV4 Group has taken yet another big step - the company now offers all of its content in all platforms. Which is good timing for soccer fans in Sweden, who will be able to watch the World Cup live in their cell phones soon. All programming from TV4, TV4 Plus, TV400 and TV4 Fakta will be available direct in cell phones at the same time it is broadcast on traditional TV.

The TV4 Group and Telenor's collaboration enhanced with new C More Entertainment co-ownership agreement.

The TV4 Group and Telenor Group today announced that they have entered a co-ownership agreement for C More Entertainment, which runs its premium TV operations under the Canal+ brand. Telenor will acquire 35 per cent of C More Entertainment through a share purchase and a directed new share issue of the company's shares. Telenor has paid a cash consideration of SEK 787 million. In addition certain sports rights owned by Telenor, for example SAS Ligaen and FIFA World Cup 2010 in Denmark, have been sublicensed to C More Entertainment.

New cell-phone website gives users access to 17,000 recipes - and coupons to buy the ingredients at the grocery store.

Sweden's popular food website Recept.nu, which was launched in Nov. 2007 by afternoon daily Expressen and TV4 Group, has been one of the country's biggest food sites since last year, with some 340,00 unique visitors weekly.

The site has now launched a version for cell phones.

TV4 Group and Expressen have launched a new website, Resor.nu, to provide comparison travel services. The site uses a unique way to searching airline and travel agency sites worldwide to find the absolute best price for any travel destination.

Newly formed company Enterprize will broaden TV4 Group's business portfolio with new ideas. Enterprize, together with its collaboraters and TV4 as primary media partner, will search out and develop ideas that can become new profitable business.

A newly formed company, Enterprize, has been set up with TV4 Group as a majority owner, with the purpose of finding and developing new business ideas and cooperations. The new company will turn good ideas into reality and find new profitable income streams and business for business partners, Enterprize and TV4 Group.

"Every day we meet possible partners with new business ideas and interesting projects, but all too often they just remain in the idea stage," says Michael Grimborg, director of sales at TV4 Group.

TV4 Fakta launched in Norway

TV4 Fakta, the Nordic region's biggest documentary channel, will launch in Norway on March 22. TV4 Fakta will start out reaching some 1 million Canal Digital households. The launch is the latest step in TV4 Group's growth strategy for the Nordic countries.

Tv4 Fakta is the Nordic region's biggest documentary channel, already reaching over 1.9 million households in Sweden and over 300,000 households in Finland. Now TV4 Fakta will be launched in Norway as well.

At 6 p.m. on Monday, March 22, Canal Digital in Norway will broadcast TV4 Fakta via satellite and cable, and the channel will run programming on a nearly 24-hour basis.

TV4 Group and Ericsson in ten-year strategic partnership

The TV4 Group and Ericsson have entered into a ten-year strategic partnership with the aim of driving and leading development of the TV technology of the future. Under the agreement, Ericsson will be taking over responsibility for all TV4 Group transmission operations

Under the ten-year partnership and technology development agreement, Ericsson will be taking over responsibility for TV4 Group transmission operations. The 40 people at TV4 working in the departments concerned will be offered employment with Ericsson.
