Life At Bonnier - Damernas Värld

Meet Beatrice Hellman

Beatrice Hellman, art director at women's magazine Damernas Värld in Sweden, has flown the coop – she's now in Sydney, Australia as part of GROW.

Beatrice Hellman has worked magazine design for 10 years. She normally works as art director for Damernas Värld, a job that requires planning the magazine together with other editorial staff, assigning illustrators and photographers and overseeing the overall layout of the magazine.

Bonnier Creative Enters New Phase

Growing from a staff of two to about ten. Expanding from a basic Production agency to a combined Production and Event agency, with plenty of exciting assignments. Bonnier Creative’s Head of Creative, Louise Fallenius has a fully booked calendar for 2010.

"We're sitting on an editorial treasure here at Bonnier Tidskrifter, but sometimes advertisers don't simply want to buy the usual full- and half-page ads. They're looking for something else," says Louise Fallenius. "And that's where we come in."

It's the kind of scene every young fashionista dreams of—racks of breathtaking dresses, their hems brushing against an army of tottering heels and lean, luxurious boots. The fashion editor has just returned from Milan Fashion Week, and the office is abuzz with preparations for Sweden's most prestigious design award, Guldknappen. Damernas Värld, Sweden's largest fashion magazine, is almost 70 years old—proof that you don't need to be young to look good.
