Jorid Aldrin: Goodbye, Copenhagen!

Our GROW ambassador Jorid says farewell to Copenhagen – but she will definitely come back soon

So, this is it.

My GROW period has come to an end. I can't believe how fast time flies. It feels almost like I've just arrived, and I could easily have stayed for another 3 months. But my train is leaving for Stockholm in 5 days, so it's time to pack my bags and say goodbye to Copenhagen and Bonnier Publications.

Jorid Aldrin: A Night at the Opera

Jorid enjoys Copenhagen's cultural experience and works with analyse of new sites

Sunday, I just got back from a long walk in the beautiful Fredriksberg gardens which was created more than 300 years ago and is said to be one of the most romantic landscape gardens in Denmark. I can only agree. It was absolutely fantastic with large ponds and canals surrounded by old trees in autumn colours, winding paths and small bridges.

Jorid Aldrin: Unexpected meeting at the laundromat

Our Swedish GROW ambassador Jorid finds out that it is the unexpected meetings that makes traveling alone extra exciting

One of the best things when you are traveling all by yourself or if you are living in a new country is that you meet new people that you never would have meet if you had been travelling with friends or family.

During my very first week in Denmark, I tried out the laundromat across the street from my apartment. The whole laundromat thing is new to me, because in Sweden everyone have their own washing machine or a laundry room in the basement of their apartment building that can be used only by the residents.

Jorid Aldrin: Danish Autumn

Our Swedish GROW ambassador Jorid visits a web analytics seminar and moves to a new apartment

Autumn has arrived in Copenhagen, it's windy and cold and all the trees are starting to turn beautifully red and yellow. I just came back after an exhausting thai boxing class at the gym, the class really makes you push yourself to the limit of exhaustion but it's so much fun and a really good exercise when you are working in an office all day. Back home I normally take dance classes, but thai boxing has really become a new favorite.

Jorid Aldrin: Busy weeks at the online department

Our GROW ambassador Jorid is checking out Vesterbros cozy coffeehouses and looking at twitter as a traffic channel

Time flies, It's almost a month since I left Sweden. In a kind of way it feels like I just arrived, but in the same time it feels like I've been here for ages and my life back home feels kind of distant.

Steffen Trannerup: Meet and Greet in Orlando

Steffen Trannerup, GROW ambassador from Copenhagen, spent his first week in Orlando shaking hands, understanding the workflows, having dinner with Mickey Mouse and listening to The Boss

Hi, I'm Steffen! I'm 36 years old and I've worked at Bonnier Publications in Copenhagen since 2003.

Jorid Aldrin: Copenhagen in September

New GROW ambassador Jorid Aldrin is in Denmark to work for Bonnier Publications Online Department

Hi !

My name is Jorid Aldrin and I work with marketing analysis in the analyst department at Bonnier Tidskrifter in Stockholm, Sweden. I have been working for Bonnier since January 2007. I first started at the marketing department at Bonnier Nova, and in 2008 I moved on to work at the analyst department at Bonnier Tidskrifter. In my current position I mainly work with target group analysis and provide our sales and marketing departments with current data through reports and presentations.

Big Changes on the Eastern Front

Last spring, he became CEO of Bonnier Business Press in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), countries where the advertising market has crashed to historic lows. Anders Eriksson has had a tough first six months on the job, with heavy cutbacks and savings measures. Despite this, he dares to invest in the future.

For Bonnier Business Press in Central and Eastern Europe, 2009 has been marked by the drastic tightening of budget strings. In total, expenditures have been cut by around 30 percent, and in some countries even more.
