Bonnier Corp. Boasts 16 Finalists in Ozzies and Eddies

Saveur and Field & Stream garner three nominations each in Folio's annual awards for magazines.

Folio, the main U.S. magazine industry organization, has announced the finalists for its annual awards, the Eddies for editorial content and the Ozzies for graphic design. Competing for the prizes are 16 nominations from Bonnier Corporation magazines - Saveur and Field & Stream garnered three nominations each.

The Eddies finalists from Bonnier Corporation include: under the category Best Series of Articles, Consumer, Parenting; under B-to-B Recreation/Sports/Outdoor, SHOT Daily; under Epicurean, Full Issue, the Saveur Jan. 2010 and June 2010 issues; for Epicurean, Single Article, "The Wonders of Ham: Around the World, Cured Pork is a Celebrated Feast" from Saveur Dec. 2009; under Consumer Enthusiasts/Hobbyists Single Article, "The Elements of Survival" from Outdoor Life March 2010; under Consumer - Sports, Full Issue, Field & Stream Dec. 2009; under Consumer - Sports, Single issue, "The Last Tiger" from Field & Stream, Dec. 2009; and under Consumer - Sports, Website, fieldandstream.com; under Consumer - Parenting, Single Article, "Walking to a Different Beat" from Parenting School Years, Dec. 2009 and "Role Reversal" from Working Mother Magazine, Dec. 2009.

The Ozzie finalists include: under the category Best Cover, B-to-B, under 100,000 Circulation, TransWorld Business June 2010; Best Cover, Consumer Under 250,000 Circulation, TransWorld Snowboarding April 2010; Best Feature, Consumer Above 250,000, "Elements of Survival" Outdoor Life March 2010; Best Supplemental Annual or One-Shot, TransWorld Snowboarding Photo Issue Dec. 2010; and under Best Use of Photography - Consumer under 250,000 Circulation, "The Sea" from Yachting, Feb. 2010.

The winners for the awards will be announced in New York City on Jan. 13, 2010.
