Economedia New Publisher for Pari Daily

Economedia and Bonnier signed today a deal for strategic partnership wherein Pari Daily will become part of Economedia's portfolio, which includes Dnevnik Daily and Capital Weekly. Pari will continue to position itself as a business newspaper with even bigger success, as Economedia is the company with the richest and longest experience in Bulgaria in publishing business media. Economedia plans to merge the brands of Dnevnik and Pari while keeping and developing further the strongest features of both publications.

As a result of the deal, Lilia Apostolova will become the new CEO of Economedia, replacing Elitsa Angelova, who will leave the company. Lilia Apostolova is CEO and Editor-In-Chief of Pari Daily, and in the past she worked as journalist and later managing editor of Capital Weekly.

Under the deal, Bonnier will no longer own Pari, but will still continue to share experience, product ideas and best practice in exchange for a small portion of the profits.
