Jenny Larsson: 90 Years of SF

A Week in the Life: A kick-off for 190 people - and this year it is Jubilee Year!

Monday has been busy, as usual. Right now I'm working to piece together a kick-off in April when we get together with our Nordic subsidiaries go to Elsinore in Denmark. It is a lot of work to get nearly 190 people travel and accommodation, taking allergies and other needs into account. Many lists are there, but I know that once we we're done, this inconvenience will have been worth the effort. We usually have lots of fun at these meetings. This year it is our 90-year anniversary so it feels a little extra festive.

SF has been around for 90 years, so we will obviously require lots of preparation. Celebrations will be highlighted throughout the year, including during the film festival in Cannes.  Our office is located in a historic site, the Old Filmstaden in Råsunda, just outside Stockholm. Stars like Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman and many more have been a part of its history, not to mention all the great filmmakers such as Victor Sjöström and Ingmar Bergman. Even on a gray and boring Monday morning, it's easy to get into a good mood when you go in through the gates of the classic Old Filmstaden, pictured here. On the other hand, I am glad when I can go out through them, which I should do now! Tomorrow, I'll deal with the intranet, which is in desperate need of updating.

Hasta Mañana!
