Junior Great Journalist Award 2011 Winners Announced

Yesterday, the Lilla Journalistpriset (Junior Great Journalist Award) prize was announced at a ceremony at  Stockholm's amusement park, Gröna Lund. The winners are:

• Print, junior high: Magazinet, Stallarholmsskolan , Strängnäs
• Print, high school: Cumulus, Åva Gymnasium, Stockholm
• Web, junior high: Veckans Nyheter, Hierneskolans skoltidning, Koppom
• Web, high school: Kulturkrock, Kulturama, Stockholm

Honorable mentions were given to Galax (Friskolan Vintergatan), HGY Magazine (Huddingegymnasiet) and Signerat Ung (Klara Gymnasium). You can read the jury's comments here (in Swedish).

The jury included, among others, Björn Hedensjö, managing editor for dn.se.

"It's fantastic to see the high quality of the web winners, there are clearly talented web newspaper creators working with the site," said Björn Hedensjö to dn.se.
