Maria Lanner: A Small World

We have gone on a little vacation. I took off work and we jetted off to Sydney. We stayed in a small hotel in the middle of the action, pretty close to everything. It is a great city! Much larger and more intense than our little Melbourne. If you're a tourist in Sydney, the first thing you do is visit the opera house. We did so, too, of course. Everything you see in pictures is so unreal when you're standing next to it—what a magnificent creature!

We had meeting with an old friend of mine, whom I went to high school with in the U.S. twenty years ago! It was a wonderfully fun walk down Memory Lane. We completed the night with dinner below the Opera House. And none of them have changed a thing in twenty years!
