Using a webcam and a software plug-in, owners of Drake's Comprehensive Compendium of Dragonology will be able to access the special feature by holding up a particular page to their computer screen.  

Earnings: FT Group Paid Subs Drive Slim Revenue Growth - paidContent publishes new data regarding FT.com's online news paywall.FT.com now has 1.6 million registered users and 121,000 paid subscriptions - that's a 22% rise year on year, but only 4,000 more than it had in July.     

TV Futures: Charging For Online Shows - MediaPost's sober view on Hulu's business model: "Hulu will have to begin charging for at least some of its content if it doesn't want to destroy the $185 billion television ecosystem it draws from."

New Google Music Service Launch Imminent - TechCrunch on Google's new rumored music service. The new service will be available for at least U.S. users, although it isn't clear if it's a download or streaming service, or both.
