How does it feel your first day?
I feel pretty prepared, since during the fall I've traveled over 25,000 kilometers all over Sweden, mostly by car, from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south. I've met not just many colleagues, but customers and partners as well.
What's your impression of TV4 just now?
The main feeling is that things are very bright!
What are the biggest opportunities?
I see a long list of possibilities for TV4 right now. What we are experiencing at the moment is most likely a historic restructuring of the Swedish media industry. For the first time in a hundred years, local newspaper monopolies are getting some real competition. Advertisers have a completely new alternative and are moving increasingly bigger investments from newspapers to TV. The upcoming year will be yet another strong one for TV4.
I'm looking forward to the premier of Kontoret, the Swedish version of The Office, this winter. Henrik Dorsin's character Ove Sundberg from Solsidan will play the boss from hell. Not even Ricky Gervais from the original series will be more excruciating to watch.
