R&D Summary - week 46

Starting this week, the R&D will be posting regular briefings on what we're up to every week. Short and sweet.

An intense conference week for all of us this week. Sara was a speaker at both SIME and Good Morning 2019. Pontus was head of the SIME Prize jury and sat in a panel discussing entrepreneurs. Paulina was briskly thrown in a panel at Digital Landscapes and wanted to know more about how to monetization online. Phew!

Apart from that, we've had our weekly Skype conference with Jack Schulze and Matt Jones from BERG London on our current project regarding e-readers. Both our Swedish and our Danish team presented their ideas too, and it's looking good! Hopefully we can tell you more about it fairly soon.

Our lab is also taking shape. The new sofa arrived and blocked the fire exit for a few hours, causing more concern than relaxation during its first hours of Bonnier life. Maybe that is the case with anyone new, I'm not sure. A few tables, a TV and some gadgets and the lab we'll almost be done. It's going to become a nice physical space to develop and prototype in. Looking forward to that.

Finally we were entertained by Magnus Lindkvist at Good Morning 2019, and met a bunch of enthusiastic entrepreneurs. A few familiar faces from 24 Hour Business Camp, and some new ones too. Strangest pitch so far: The Bonnier Skipping Rope. It was thought some of us needed it. Thanks.
