The cinema chain SF Bio is reorganizing. And a new division, SF Consumer Entertainment, has been created. The idea is to concentrate and develop Bonnier's film businesses on the consumer side.
"By pulling together SF Bio, online mail-order clubs Homeenter and Discshop, and film service SF Anytime into a common consumer-oriented division we hope to utilize and increase our competences when it comes to direct sales to consumers," says Torsten Larsson, CEO for Bonnier Entertainment and Bonnier Broadcasting & Evening Paper. "In this way we can improve our current offerings to consumers and develop them further.
The focus for the new division will be on developing the companies' current and upcoming products. The division will be organized into two business areas: SF Home Nordic with Discshop, Homeenter and SF Anytime, and SF Cinema Nordic with SF Bio, SF Kino and SF Media.
Jan Bernhardsson will be the new CEO and group manager for the division. Two new CEOs will start in the spring as well: Marie Bratani-Olsson for Homeenter on April 11 and Ivar Halstvedt for SF Kino in Norway on May 2.
