Bonnier Tidskrifter (Bonnier Magazines) is the largest consumer magazine publisher in Sweden with more than 50 titles, many of them market leaders in their niche - both special interest and lifestyle magazines - from fashion and decoration to cars, food, parenting and travel.

Bonnier has a long tradition of publishing magazines in Sweden. The oldest title, KamratPosten was launched in 1892. Today, Bonnier Tidskrifter is one of Sweden's leading companies within its field and publishes, beside 600 magazine issues per year, a number of websites, mobile services, books, customer magazines, events and courses, etc.

Bonnier Tidskrifters Research Department has an opening for a Research Analyst. This position will support the ad sales effort of one or more Bonnier titles with analyses and interpretation of syndicated media studies, and by contributing to presentations and sales proposals. The Research Analyst will work with the Research Director to determine the challenges and goals of specific advertising sales efforts and will contribute research strategies that support sales and client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Compiling and interpreting competitive and industry data while working with Sales Development Managers, Marketing Directors, and sales representatives.
  • Making actionable recommendations based on your findings, daily research requests, prospecting and any other research need.
  • Responsible for using custom research - creating the stories (numbers) from previous subscriber/online studies/reader panels.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to: a) analyze and evaluate raw data; b) apply mathematical interpretation to lend greater perspective to results; and, c) formulate clear conclusions which can be communicated to sales personnel and advertising clients-prospects.
  • Must be experienced and comfortable working with major (syndicated)  research studies and tools
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a media or agency environment.
  • Must also have strong computer skills, be comfort with numbers and the ability to handle high-volume and time-sensitive skills tasks.
