In a study by media trade publication Min, Saveur's ad pages jumped 33.48 percent over a three-year span from 2008 to 2010. Which put Bonnier Corporation's Saveur at the No. 2 spot among all magazines tracked for growth by Min.
In Min's analysis, only four monthly magazines that had ad page gains in 2010 also showed gains in 2009 versus 2008. People StyleWatch was in the top slot, with Saveur No. 2.
Merri Lee Kingsly, vice president, group publisher of Saveur, told Min that there are "tons of exciting new things going on in 2011 to stay true to our mission and grow the brand organically," including a new partnership with retailer Sur La Table to create "Saveur Cooks" programs in 24 of Sur La Table's culinary centers. Saveur also plans to launch an app that will be a valuable tool for the traveling foodie.
