SDS Group Strengthens Its Digital Media

SDS Group's business area Digital Media will be broadened. Camilla Jonsson will be the new manager.

The mandate for the SDS Group's business area Digital Media has become broader - and deeper - with a comprensive approach for all digital development and sales. Sydsvenskan's managing editor Camilla Jonsson will be the new director and part of the corporate top management for SDS.

Current manager Anders Olofsson will continue to work with running and coordinating development efforts technically, commercially and as manager for digital development.

"Camilla will take a holistic approach to our digital channels," says Johan Ståhl, CEO for SDS Group. "In a changed media environment these issues will only be more important. Through strengthening Digital Media we can position ourselves further ahead and earn more money. The complexity in the development segment is increasing and Anders Olofsson can focus on that."

"It will be incredibly exciting to have responsibility for our digital activities," says Jonsson. "The conditions are good and the situation is favorable. The interest in digital products is high both for advertisers and readers. Up until now I've worked exclusively with content, personnel and development issues in different places and different ways. In my new role, I'll be taking on the commercial responsibility as well for the first time, which will be stimulating - and challenging."
