Stian Hole and Cappelen Damm Win Bragepriset Award

On Tuesday, Norway's prestigious Bragepriset awards were given out. Cappelen Damm author Stian Hole won in the open category with his children's book Garmanns Hemmelighet (Garmann's Secret). The prize is Norway's equivalent to the Pulitzer Prize or the National Book Award. The awards are given out annually by Den norske Bokprisen foundation and the Norwegian authors' organization. Stian Hole also recently won one of Germany's prestigious children's Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis (read more here).
