Babak Najafi's Sebbe will compete in the Generation 14plus competition, while Roman Polansiki's Ghost Writer and Noah Baumbach's Greenberg will show in the main competition. The festival runs February 11-21.
"We are very proud to have two films as part of the main competition, as well as Babak Najafi's feature film debut Sebbe in the Generation 14plus competition," says Helena Stenberg, spokeswoman for foreign films for SF Film. "It's an impressive feature debut, a strong film that deserves international attention."
Najafi's Sebbe will compete with other Generation 14plus nominees for a crystal bear award. Polanski's thriller The Ghost Writer is competing for the Golden Bear award for best film, with stars Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan and Olivia Williams as well as author Robert Harris attending the festival. Baumbach's Greenberg also is nominated for the Golden Bear. The director will be attending along with stars Ben Stiller, Greta Gerwig and Rhys Ifans.
