Urban Sandström New Interim Head of Ad Sales for Bonnier Tidskrifter

Anders Kvarby is leaving Bonnier Tidskrifter with Urban Sandström filling in at head of ad sales starting May 9.

After two years working at Bonnier Tidskrifter, Anders Kvarby is leaving his position as head of ad sales. Urban Sandström, today the business area manager for the BT Sales department, will serve as interim head starting May 9. He will continue to hold his current position as well.

Kvarby will become CEO of Forma Books. As ad sales director, he oversaw a significant reorganization and mobilization of resources. Bonnier Tidskrifter's portfolio grew and developed since his start, both in terms of new titles, new media channels and a completely new ad format. Ad sales increased 12 percent during the two years of his tenure, with BT Sales taking market share and excelling in industry research and customer appreciation, as well as through Creative Sales.

"Working at Bonnier Tidskrifter has been amazingly stimulating and fun," says Kvarby. "There are so many strengths, so much creativity and energy. As I leave, I'm incredibly proud over everything we've accomplished in the ad sales department. I left an organization with incredibly competent and energetic co-workers for whom I wish all the luck in the future."

The recruiting process for a replacement is underway.
