Winners of the Swedish Grand Prize for Journalism 2019

Prizewinners for 2019 are Karwan Faraj och Rosa Fernandez, Swedish Radio; Malin Mendel, Swedish Television; Hanna Hellquist; Per Agerman, Joachim Dyfvermark, Axel Gordh Humlesjö & Linda Larsson Kakuli, Swedish Television; and Bibi Rödöö, Swedish Radio.

Winners of the Swedish Grand Prize for Journalism 2019 were announced at a prize ceremony earlier this evening before an audience of Sweden’s leading journalists and media personalities.

The awards were introduced by Jonas Bonnier, jury chair. The program host for the evening was Olof Lundh, sports journalist and program leader.

The guest of honor was Hajo Seppelt, prizewinning German TV journalist for public service channel ARD who has exposed doping in a range of sports in Germany, China, Kenya and Russia.
