Marketing with QuickShift

The Irvine, California-based Bonnier Motorcycle Group has launched a new in-house marketing agency, QuickShift. The new agency will provide innovative and unique custom marketing programs for clients of the group, which comprises 12 media brands, including flagships Cycle World and Motorcyclist.

“We were seeing an increasing demand for marketing services and custom programs from our clients over the past two years and it has been exciting to help our customers with these new marketing programs,” says Garrett Kai, associate publisher for the group. Kai will be in charge at QuickShift.

“We decided that because of our knowledge, experience and passion for motorcycles combined with our ability to create innovative and engaging marketing programs for our clients as well as our audience of motorcycle enthusiasts, we are uniquely qualified to provide this these type of services,” says Kai. “We continue to have the largest and most passionate audience of power sports enthusiasts and QuickShift simply offers another way for us to help our customers tell their marketing stories.”

QuickShift will work in conjunction with the group’s sales staff to provide for its power-sports clients custom marketing programs that will include video, PR, social media, custom content, advertising, events and outreach. In addition to the group’s 8.3 million enthusiast audience, QuickShift also has access to non- or near-enthusiasts via partnerships with MSN, AOL, Yahoo, Daily Motion, and other video and content channels.

“We have already been receiving requests from our customers for several project proposals and our advertisers seem to feel that this is new but natural extension of the business for the Bonnier Motorcycle Group,” says Kai.
